Oma Holloway is the Interim Chief Executive Officer of New Era Revitalization Inc., where she is leading the launch and strategic growth of the organization to advance equitable economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and community empowerment throughout Brooklyn. As the organization's founding executive leader, she is responsible for building the operational infrastructure, cultivating strategic partnerships, securing philanthropic and public investment, and developing innovative programs that create sustainable opportunities for residents, businesses, and communities.

A respected nonprofit executive and community development strategist with more than 30 years of leadership experience, Oma has dedicated her career to strengthening communities through organizational excellence, economic opportunity, collaborative partnerships, and transformative programming. Her expertise spans executive management, organizational capacity building, community and economic development, fund development, coalition building, and workforce development.

In addition to her leadership at New Era Revitalization Inc., Oma is the Founder and Chief Strategist of ADENA Consulting Group, LLC, where she advises nonprofit organizations and small businesses on organizational capacity building, interim executive leadership, strategic planning, grant writing, community and economic development, and cross-sector collaboration.

Prior to joining New Era Revitalization Inc., Oma served for more than nine years as Chief Operating Officer of Bridge Street Development Corporation (BSDC) in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. During her tenure, she expanded economic development initiatives for local merchants on secondary commercial corridors, led the successful Open Streets program on Tompkins Avenue, and helped establish six merchant associations serving Central Brooklyn businesses. She secured more than $10 million in public and private funding to strengthen community-based organizations and directed workforce development and summer employment programs that connected thousands of young people with meaningful employment and career development opportunities.

Her leadership has earned numerous honors, including recognition on the 2023 Brooklyn Power List by Schneps Media and recognition by City & State New York for her contributions to community and economic development. A proud graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, Oma believes that lasting revitalization begins with investing in people, building strong institutions, and creating pathways to economic opportunity that benefit entire communities.

As Interim Chief Executive Officer, Oma is guiding New Era Revitalization Inc. with a vision of inclusive growth, strategic collaboration, and community-driven solutions that will help neighborhoods and residents thrive for generations to come.

We are a non-profit dedicated to improving neighborhoods by collaborating with developers to facilitate the acquisition of affordable housing.
